From Italy with Love

Over nine summers she learned these recipes in the kitchen of a wonderful boutique hotel in Assisi, Italy. She says, “It’s was a tough job but someone had to do it.” Now we all get to enjoy the food. Microwave Chocolate Popcorn
Ingredients for Chocolate Popcorn
Three-ounce microwave popcorn package
½ cup butter
¾ cup white sugar
¾ cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 TBSP cocoa powder
Sea salt (optional)
Istruzione for Chocolate Popcorn
Heat the butter, sugars, vanilla, and powdered cocoa in a small saucepan over low heat until the sugar is dissolved, and butter melted.
Meanwhile, pop microwave popcorn using the package directions and place in large bowl. Sprinkle with sea salt.
Place 1/3 of the popcorn in another large bowl and pour 1/3 of the liquid over the popcorn. With a large spoon gently mix to thoroughly coat the popcorn. Continue with another 1/3 and then the rest of the popcorn.
